Showroom & In-Home Sales Consultant (aka Problem Solver)

Location & Territory (Central Vancouver Island)
We have a strong, active presence in both Campbell River and the Comox Valley. Because we serve a large area, we have unique flexibility here. Depending on where you call home, we can structure your primary focus area to be based out of Campbell River, the Comox Valley, or a blend of both.
What You’ll Be Doing (The Sales Journey)
This isn't a transactional retail job where you stand behind a counter waiting for a cash register to ring. You are a consultative problem solver. Every home and business is a unique puzzle. Your job is to guide clients from "I have no idea what I need" to "Wow, this looks and functions incredibly."
You will own the entire customer experience:
The Showroom Consultation: Meet clients in one of our two beautiful showrooms. Listen to their challenges and desires, ask deep questions, and guide them through our products and operating systems.
The In-Home Consultation: Pack up your samples, jump in the company vehicle, and meet the client at their property. You’ll narrow down materials and colors to perfectly match their space.
The Precision Phase: You will take detailed, accurate measurements of each window opening and analyze the architecture to ensure the chosen solution will work perfectly.
The Proposal & Hand-off: Build custom, detailed quotes for the client. Once they choose their dream option, you’ll place the orders and deliver a flawless technical brief to our operations manager and installation team.
Who You Are (No Window Covering Experience Required!)
We don't care if you've never sold a blind or shade in your life—we can teach you the product knowledge. What we can’t teach is your drive, your curiosity, and your character.
You are a perfect fit if:
You are an information sponge: This industry is highly technical with thousands of options. You must be eager and able to absorb massive amounts of product data, automation details, and specifications. (But don’t worry, there are resources to look up every detail anytime you need).
You are a master listener: You don't just wait for your turn to speak. You ask great questions to find out what a client actually needs.
You measure twice, cut once: You possess obsessive attention to detail. An eighth-of-an-inch matters in this job. If paperwork and precise details make you break out in a sweat, this isn't the role for you.
You love ownership: You enjoy managing your own pipeline, taking care of your clients, and seeing a project through from start to finish.
